Elly - Guest Services Technician

Elly was born in Winston-Salem, NC and grew up in Statesville, NC. She graduated from North Iredell High School where she concentrated on Art. Elly attended Penn Foster  College where she earned her Veterinary Assisting diploma and Teacher Aide diploma. Elly lives with her Jack Russell, “Sam” and has a heard of beef cattle. Elly said she wanted to work at the Animal Hospital every since she started bringing her dogs here as a child. She worked and studied in Tacoma, WA for a while but is really happy to be back home in Statesville and with the Animal Hospital.

Holly - Guest Services Technician

Holly was born in Laeger, WV, but was raised in Statesville, NC. She graduated from North Iredell High School and attended Catawba Valley Community College. She plans to continue at CVCC in the near future, to earn her Associate’s degree in Web Technologies. Holly has 3 cats named Andy, Souffle and Sox, a Boxer named Jake, and a Border Collie mix named Rudy. In her spare time, Holly enjoys working with computers, photography and playing with her pets. Holly started with the Animal Hospital of Statesville in 2009. A friend recommended her for the job, knowing that she had been wanting to work with animals. She says she enjoys working at AHS because she loves being around people and taking care of animals.

Megan - Guest Services Technician

Megan was born in Kettering, Ohio and grew up in Miamisburg, Ohio. She graduated from Miamisburg High School. Megan completed an online course with Animal Behavior College, where she earned her certification as a Veterinarian Assistant. During her studies, she did her internship here with Animal Hospital of Statesville. We felt that she was a great fit for our Pet Quarters, and we hired her to start August 1, 2011. Megan loves life in the fast lane. She races late model stock cars in her spare time. She also has a great passion for animals. Her furry family consists of two dogs, one named Turbo and one named Hammer. Button the cat rounds out the group. We are glad to welcome Megan to our Guest Services staff. 

Michelle - Guest Services Technician

Michelle was born in Wantage, New Jersey where she lived until 2007, when she moved to Statesville.  She graduated from North Iredell High School in June of 2010 and is attending North Carolina State University majoring in zoology.  She plans on applying to their veterinary program after she receives her bachelors.  Michelle lives with her parents and three younger siblings along with her Labrador Retriever, Brittany, a cat named Felicity, and two steer, Buck and Knee-High.  Michelle started at The Animal Hospital in July 2009 in the position of Kennel Assistant.  She loves animals of all kinds and helps her family out with their deer/fawn rehabilitation.  When she is not working, Michelle loves to play soccer, be outside, and spend time with family and friends.
