Makayla was born in Peterborough, New Hampshire, and grew up in both Swanzey, NH and Statesville, NC. She attended West Iredell High School where she was on the Cheerleading squad for 3 years.  Makayla has 1 child - a son, and 2 “furkids”, a Pit Bull and a Labradoodle. She enjoys hiking and traveling. Her favorite place to travel to is Arkansas!  Not what you’d expect, right?  She has a friend out there and they love to go four-wheeling in Pea Ridge. She loved hiking in the Whites when she lived in New Hampshire (now THAT’S some rough hiking!). Another favorite place is Burlington, where she really enjoys going through the Ben & Jerry’s factory – she says it’s SO GOOD! Makayla wants to continue her education, with the goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. In the meantime, by joining our Client Services team, she is fulfilling her dream of working in an animal hospital – one step at a time, right? 

It's been just recently discovered that Makayla, like Kayla, speaks "cornbread". Totally not a New Hampshire thing! Also, Kayla revealed that Makayla bowls in one lane, but throws the ball into the next lane! She also tries to bowl when the set-up machine is still stabilizing the pins...So, if you bowl, and you see Makayla, move to a lane far, far away!
