Cynthia

CVA

Veterinary Patient Care Team, Assistant Puppy Socialization Class Instructor

Pulling again from our local population, Cynthia is an Iredell County native, having grown up in Statesville. She graduated from North Iredell High School in 2023 after participating in their CTE (Career & Technical Education) program in the Veterinary Assistant field. She interned with us while in the CTE program. After completing the CTE program, Cynthia earned her CVA, or Certified Veterinary Assistant designation. Cynthia is currently in the NC Apprenticeship program which pays for her education at Gaston College in Veterinary Technology to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. While attending college at Gaston, she also works at AHS as part of the apprenticeship program. This helps her in classes, as well as helping us out during her years in the program. Add to that, she recently volunteered to help Puppy Socialization Class Lead Instructor, Traci. She feels the experience will be invaluable to her education as a future RVT. We were more than happy to add her to our team, as she's super sweet and hardworking, helping out wherever she's needed.

Cynthia enjoys going for walks, beading and fishing when she has time!  She has two pets, a Chihuahua and a chicken!  We're looking forward to helping her however we can to learn all she needs to earn her RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) certification.
