Ella

Ella came to Animal Hospital of Statesville as a shadow student in high school. She’s a Statesville native, like so many of our staff members. She graduated from West Iredell High School and went on to attend Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC. While there, she majored in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and earned her Bachelors of Science. Her pre-vet education inspired her to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, so she’s now working with us as a VPC while she puts into motion that goal. She loved working with us during her “shadowship” and we loved her back and were excited that she wanted to come back and learn and work with us!

Ella is engaged to be married (no date revealed yet) to Luke. Her 3 pets are her children – a Labrador Retriever, a Gecko and a Guinea Pig!  She and Luke hope to build their first home over the next few years.

Outdoors is Ella’s favorite place to be. She loves hiking (Lees-McCrae was perfect for that!), reading books, swimming, playing/spending time with her animals. She loves coffee, and prioritizes going out on coffee dates with her friends.
