Puppy Socialization

Early socialization is the key to help ensure healthy behavior in adulthood. We offer puppy socialization classes for puppies aged 10 to 16 weeks. During this span of your puppy’s development, training and interacting with others is crucial.

In our classes, your puppy will gain new experiences and build etiquette. We hold classes every Monday night from 6 to 6:30 pm. During this time of play, the pups have a blast and burn off excess energy in a controlled environment, while you, the puppy “parents”, have a chance to unwind, play with other puppies and enjoy a laugh or two!

Socialization can make the difference in the dog's outlook on life. Instead of reacting fearfully to new experiences, the dog is comfortable when encountering new things, animals and people. This helps the dog and everyone else, since the most common cause of unprovoked dog aggression is lack of proper socialization. Starting socialization early prevents the necessity of your puppy having to unlearn unproductive and inappropriate responses. Prevention is much better than rehabilitation, so if you can work with a puppy early on, you and your puppy will have an immense advantage.

Puppy classes are complimentary for our clients and are only $5.00 per class for non-clients. Puppies must be up to date on their vaccines. If interested in registering your four-legged furry companion, please give us a call at 704-872-3625.
